Delivery driver (van / 7.5 t)
Delivery with a van or 7.5-tonne truck — the middle ground between parcel work and HGV. Often without code 95 if the vehicle stays under 3.5 t.
Typical duties
- 01Deliver goods to branches, building sites or private customers
- 02Load and unload, often using a pallet truck or tail lift
- 03Hand over delivery notes and obtain confirmation of receipt
- 04Collect returns and bring them back to the depot
Requirements
- Category B licence; C1 in addition for 7.5-tonne vehicles
- Physical fitness for unloading
- A friendly manner with customers
The statutory minimum wage in Germany is €13,90 gross per hour (2026). Many sectors apply higher collective or sector minimum wages.
