Construction worker
Building and civil engineering hire year-round. Anyone who has worked on sites can be placed without a German qualification — experience counts.
Typical duties
- 01Earthworks, masonry and concrete work as directed by site management
- 02Erect formwork, install reinforcement, pour concrete
- 03Set up the site, move materials, operate equipment
- 04Follow safety rules and use fall protection and protective equipment
Requirements
- Practical site experience; evidence of it helps
- Physical fitness and outdoor work in all weather
- No recognised German qualification required
The statutory minimum wage in Germany is €13,90 gross per hour (2026). Many sectors apply higher collective or sector minimum wages.
