Welder
Welders with valid certifications are in demand and well paid. Existing ISO 9606 certificates significantly improve your chances.
Typical duties
- 01Weld using MAG, TIG or stick processes
- 02Tack, align and weld components with minimal distortion
- 03Visually inspect and rework seams
- 04Follow welding procedure specifications and test requirements
Requirements
- Practical welding experience; certificates are a strong advantage
- Reading welding symbols and simple drawings
- Willingness to re-certify in Germany
The statutory minimum wage in Germany is €13,90 gross per hour (2026). Many sectors apply higher collective or sector minimum wages.
