Electrician
Electrical work is partly regulated in Germany. Entry as a helper or under supervision is possible; working independently may require formal recognition.
Typical duties
- 01Lay cabling, fit distribution boards, mount installations
- 02Install and connect switches, sockets and lighting
- 03Take measurements and prepare test records
- 04Extend existing systems and trace faults
Requirements
- Experience in electrical work, with evidence where possible
- Knowledge of safety rules when working with live systems
- For independent work we check recognition requirements in advance
The statutory minimum wage in Germany is €13,90 gross per hour (2026). Many sectors apply higher collective or sector minimum wages.
